Affiliate Marketing and
Joint Ventures

Affiliate marketing and joint ventures go hand in hand. You may be thinking that affiliate marketing and joint ventures is the same thing. In a sense, this is true – but in the grand scheme of things, there are differences

You see, there are three levels of affiliate marketing. Level one is a regular affiliate. Level two is a super affiliate. Level three is a joint venture partner. All affiliates must pass through these stages in order to realize real financial success.

So, affiliate marketing and joint ventures is much the same thing – with

one major difference. Joint venture partners make higher commissions. Where a typical affiliate may make 20% or 30% of a sale, and a super affiliate may make 40% - 50% of a sale, joint venture partners often make anywhere from 60% - 75% of each sale.

Joint venture partners make those high commissions because they have the ability to produce sales. They typically have large, qualified opt-in lists that they can market to, and they have a good relationship with that list. This means that all they have to do is send an email to that list, recommend the product, and the joint venture partner and the merchant can sit back and watch those sales pour in.

When you can do this, you will know that you have arrived – you have succeeded at affiliate marketing. At this point, you will be 'in demand.' Those who create products in your niche will be seeking you out to joint venture with them on a regular basis – and this is where the majority of your income will come from. You may use other marketing methods that have worked well for you in the past to market products, but those joint venture deals will almost always take precedence!

But not just anybody can be a joint venture partner. You must first earn your wings as a regular affiliate, and then progress to the status of a super affiliate. Once you can call yourself a super affiliate, you will be ready to approach a joint venture broker or merchants to find out what launches they have in the works.
